The Cooperative Services Alliance was formed in 1999 as a collaborative effort between East River Electric and its member systems to work together to reduce costs, share resources, and gain efficiencies.  The Alliance is composed of all East River member systems and SDREA, as well as East River.  The goal of the Alliance is to proceed as a single unit with the ability to individualize as appropriate.  Each member is given the choice to participate in a project according to their individual needs.

  • Group purchase of transformers
  • Group purchase of poles
  • Annual vehicle inspections
  • Pole inspections and treatment
  • MSDS software
  • Key accounts
  • Stray voltage

Innovative ideas and suggestions are brought forward by the working groups of the cooperative for discussion and implementation.

East River Electric serves as the administrator.
